From time to time I get asked from prospects whether it is a good time to start a business or not.
“With the economy so bad and all”
“You know…. I have a full time job”
“How will the Committment fit in to my scheldule”
“Should I wait till later or do it now”
I understand these questions and wondered, too.
Here’s my answer:
First, it may NOT take that long. Some people have built a
business to 6 figures per year working just a few hours per day (and
sometimes even less).
But either way, so what if it takes time?
Time’s passing anyway.
Most of the time all I have to say is…. are you willing to give up some of your TV watching and maybe some other things to finally achieve your Dreams?
Most of the time their answer is Yes.
Really! Just being a little more Productive with your time will be enough to Start a Home Based Business. Especially an Online Business because so much of it can be automated.
Try This:
I suggest that shortly after you get home from your job, get right on the business tasks you need to do for the day. Because if you come home and plop on the couch and start watching TV, I can almost guarantee you will have a harder time getting back up. Procrastination is surely a Motivation Killer.
If you want to be an Entrepreneur bad enough, you must learn not to Procrastinate.
No way around it.
And If you think waiting to start a Business is a better option, I strongly disagree.
More and more follks are wanting to leave the corporate world and finally get out of the Rat Race.
They’re sick and tired of the long hours without more pay.
They’re sick and tired of the loss in benefits.
They’re sick and tired of being told to produce even more.
Good Lord! How much more should you take?
Make the committment!
Focus on your Dreams…not your Bosses.
Tell yourself you are Ready!
Believe it can happen to you, because it can.
With the right mindset, the right focus, the righ committment, you’re already half there.
Treat your Business like a Business and not a hobby, and it will have no other choice but to move upward. Make the time to spend the time required every day to grow your business.
Do something productive each day to grow your Business.
Read something about your Niche each day.
Blog each day.
You have to have an attitude of “do what you have to do to get the job done”
If you’re still waiting for the right time..
There is no “right” time.
There is only TODAY.
Time is passing whether you’re ready or not.
Question is, what will You Do with your time?
Will you take action and seize your destiny?
Will you choose to change your life or will you keep doing the same thing day after day wondering what it could have been like.
